** NOTICE ** Temporary relocation of Street Quaker Meeting
Street Quaker Meeting are temporarily moving out of their historic meeting house while essential repairs are carried out to the roof.
From June 30th Quaker Meetings for Worship will take place at 10.30 every Sunday in Room 6 at Crispin Community Centre, (Behind Crispin Hall, near the bus stop)
All are welcome to join us for meeting for Worship. Please come to Crispin Community Centre on a Sunday morning at 10.30 and join us afterwards for coffee and a chat.
The Meeting House is expected to re-open in November 2019.
Meeting for Worship
We arrive for Meeting for Worship on Sundays from 10.00am onwards. Meeting takes place from 10.30am - 11.30am. You are very welcome to join us and we enjoy meeting new enquirers and visitors. Do ask us any questions you may have about Quaker Meeting for Worship. Our best advice though is to simply come and try it!

About the Meeting house
Quakers in Street initially held their Meetings for Worship in the parlour of a local farmhouse. The first Quaker Meeting House, built on the current site, was thatched and this was superseded in 1850 by the building we still worship in today.

Spotlight On ... Wells Climate Strike
Friends from Street Quaker Meeting were pleased to attend the Wells Climate Strike, outside Wells Town Hall on 24th May 2019.
This protest was initiated and led by students from Wells Blue School as part of an international day of action by school pupils to raise awareness of the need for action on climate change.
